RTE signed a framework agreement with Prysmian for the EPCI delivery of submarine and land export cable links for two offshore wind connections, including the 750 MW Narbonnaise Project on the Occitanie coast that will serve both Narbonnaise 1 and the future Narbonnaise 2 (AO9) extension. Under the framework, Prysmian is designated to supply and install about 340 km of 225 kV HVAC export cables for Narbonnaise, with project-specific EPCI contracts expected to be called off in 2026–2027 and commissioning planned in 2031–2032.
