Description

On 1 August 2024, the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) opened a public consultation for the centrally pre‑investigated offshore wind areas N-10.1 and N-10.2 in the German North Sea. BSH announced that draft documents for the suitability assessment, the implementing ordinance on suitability determination, and the environmental report would be on display in its libraries in Hamburg and Rostock from 1 August to 2 September 2024 and invited stakeholders to a discussion meeting on 30 October 2024. These consultations form part of the procedure to confirm the areas’ suitability for later auction by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).
