Optioneer™

Optioneer™ was used by the Fred. Olsen Seawind and Vattenfall joint venture team to complete a grid connection route scenarios study for the Muir Mhòr project. The platform supported rapid optioneering and assessment of export cable route options, analysing multiple potential landfalls, onshore substation locations and wind farm exit points, and ranking connection scenarios using environmental, social, engineering and cost considerations aligned to the Holistic Network Design exercise. The tool also provided visual and interactive routing analysis to support internal collaboration and stakeholder engagement, helping the project team select a preferred grid connection option.
