Description
Global Maritime was appointed by Fred Olsen Seawind and Vattenfall to provide engineering and consultancy support for the Muir Mhòr floating offshore wind project. The scope included assessment of ports and logistics options for the execution phase and covered wet storage, integration and installation planning, mooring and anchoring concepts, and optimisation of mooring and inter-array cable (IAC) concepts, as well as floater assembly and wind turbine generator marshalling/integration processes. The work was managed from Global Maritime’s Glasgow office and delivered using in-house specialist engineering and multi-discipline teams.
