In a February 2015 letter to the Utility Regulator, Moyle Interconnector Limited explained its funding plan for the replacement low‑voltage submarine cables project, stating that most costs would be met from company reserves and capacity auction revenues, but that it expected to recover the balance via a CAIRt use‑of‑system charge of around £24 million for the 2015–16 tariff year, to be finally set in June 2015.
