A second non-statutory public consultation on the Morven Hawthorn Pit Grid Connection Project ran from 22 October to 30 November 2025. Led by Morven Offshore Wind Limited, this consultation sought views on refined options for the offshore cable corridor, cable landfall, onshore cable corridor and land substation near the Hawthorn Pit substation, enabling local residents and stakeholders to influence the design of the transmission infrastructure that will connect the Morven Offshore Wind Farm to the national grid.
