Engineering company Kent was awarded a pre–Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED) study contract by bp and EnBW for the 2.9 GW Morven offshore wind project located about 60 km off Aberdeen. Over an expected six‑month period, Kent will carry out engineering design work to support key decisions on foundation type, corrosion protection concepts, and transportation and installation feasibility for Morven’s fixed-bottom turbines.
