Description
Seaway 7 ASA (Seaway7) was contracted by Moray Offshore Windfarm (West) Limited (Moray West Offshore Wind Farm) to deliver the engineering and installation scope for the project’s 66 kV inter-array cable system. The contract covered supply and installation of the inter-array cables connecting the wind turbines to the offshore substation platforms, and also included a 66 kV interconnector cable between the two offshore substation platforms to improve export resilience. The scope referenced approximately 125 km of 66 kV subsea cables, with execution managed from Seaway7’s Aberdeen office and offshore installation planned to be performed using Seaway7 cable-lay vessels.
