Description
Iemants, part of the Smulders group, formed a consortium with Siemens Energy to deliver the two Offshore Transformer Module (OTM) offshore substation platforms for Moray West. Under this contract, Iemants was responsible for the steel fabrication scope of the OTM platforms, with fabrication and assembly carried out at the Smulders Projects UK yard in Wallsend. The work covered the structural components of both offshore substations that make up a major part of the Moray West OFTO transmission assets.
