On 6 December 2018, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and Moray East concluded a firm turbine supply order under which MHI Vestas will supply 100 V164-9.5 MW turbines for the 950 MW Moray East Offshore Wind Farm in the Moray Firth, including a 15‑year service agreement, coinciding with the project reaching financial close.
