INPEX, through its UK-based subsidiary INPEX Renewable Energy Europe Limited (now INPEX Europe Limited), acquired a 16.7% equity interest in the Moray East offshore wind farm in March 2023. The stake was purchased via a share transfer agreement with Diamond Generating Europe Limited and Diamond Generating Europe Investments Limited, wholly owned subsidiaries of Mitsubishi Corporation, marking INPEX’s entry as a co-owner in the operational 950 MW project.
