Between the start of generation in June 2021 and the end of July 2023, Moray East experienced repeated grid constraint events during which it was instructed to reduce output, receiving around £101 million in constraint payments for curtailing generation and contributing to a total of approximately £812 million in wholesale electricity revenues over the period, significantly above its original CfD strike price.
