In early August 2020, Moray Offshore Windfarm (East) Ltd installed the first of the project’s three offshore transformer modules (OTMs) on its jacket foundation in the Moray Firth, marking a key offshore construction milestone for the transmission system that will connect the wind farm to the onshore grid near New Deer.
