On 20 November 2020, during Ofgem’s Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) Tender Round 7 launch event for the Moray East Offshore Windfarm, the developer presented that the Moray East transmission assets to be transferred to the eventual OFTO had an Initial Transfer Value of £720 million, forming the financial basis for the competitive OFTO tender.
