Moray Offshore Windfarm (East) Ltd confirmed that NKT had been contracted to manufacture approximately 185 kilometres of 220 kV AC offshore export cables for the Moray East grid connection and to install and bury them using the cable-laying vessel NKT Victoria, forming part of the transmission link from the wind farm to the new onshore substation near New Deer in Aberdeenshire.
