In January 2016, an investor consortium comprising Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions, GE and the French Government (via ADEME) agreed to acquire the Merkur Offshore wind farm project from German developer Windreich, which had filed for insolvency in 2013, creating a new equity ownership structure for the 396 MW project.
