In June 2015, DEME Concessions Wind and the Windreich Group closed a joint venture under which Windreich contributed the MEG I project rights into Merkur Offshore GmbH, the new project company that will build and operate the Merkur Offshore wind farm, and the project was renamed Merkur Offshore.
