Description
TÜV Rheinland delivered a wind and energy yield assessment for the offshore wind farm project Meerwind Süd and Meerwind Ost (Meerwind Süd|Ost) in the German EEZ. The work assessed wind climatologic parameters and calculated farm energy yield for the planned configuration, producing a wind and energy yield assessment report to support WindMW’s development and planning of the 80-turbine Siemens SWT-3.6-120 layout. The assessment used EuroWind’s WIEN 3D meso-scale model and incorporated wind measurements from the FINO 1 research platform (provided by BSH).
