Description
TÜV Rheinland, together with its cooperation partner EuroWind, delivered a wind resource and energy yield assessment for the Meerwind Süd and Meerwind Ost offshore wind farm project on behalf of WindMW GmbH. The work included analysis of wind climatologic parameters, calculation of farm energy yield, and reporting based on modelling (WIEN 3D meso-scale model) and wind measurements from the FINO 1 research platform, with yield projection for Siemens SWT-3.6-120 turbines.
