Description
Nexans (named in the sources as Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH (NSW)) signed a turnkey contract with WindMW GmbH to deliver and install the wind farm’s inter-array (infield) medium-voltage submarine cable system for Meerwind Süd|Ost. The scope covered manufacture of 88 cable sections and offshore installation/lay and burial in 22–26 m water depths using the NOSTAG 10 cable-lay barge and a vertical injector burial method, with installation planned to start in H2 2012 and completion targeted in 2013.
