Between March and April 2011, WindMW GmbH commissioned EuroWind, in cooperation with TÜV Rheinland, to carry out a wind and energy yield assessment for the Meerwind Süd and Meerwind Ost offshore wind farms in the German Bight, 23 km north of Helgoland. The study analysed wind climatological parameters and calculated the expected farm energy yield for a configuration of 80 Siemens SWT‑3.6‑120 turbines, providing data to optimise the project layout and quantify potential output.
