Within the same Environmental Impact Study programme, Med Wind completed offshore geotechnical investigations in deep water (over 900 m) in the Strait of Sicily, using Seas Geosciences’ technologies to characterise seabed soils for floating foundation moorings and export cable routing with minimal environmental disturbance; the outcomes formed part of the EIS results presented in February 2025.
