By 13 February 2026, an AXYS FLiDAR WindSentinel buoy had been deployed at the Med Wind site in the Strait of Sicily for a 12‑month wind and marine weather measurement campaign, providing high‑resolution metocean data to support the design and optimisation of the floating offshore wind farm.
