Regolo Rinnovabili, a subsidiary of BayWa r.e., submitted an application to the Port Authority of Mazara del Vallo for a 30-year maritime concession to build and operate the 750 MW Mazara del Vallo 4 floating offshore wind farm, comprising around 50 turbines of 15 MW each, two offshore substations, and associated cable and grid infrastructure over an area of about 226 km² located roughly 44 km off the Sicilian coast.
