By August 8, 2024, BayWa r.e. reported that geophysical surveys were underway for three floating offshore wind projects off Sicily being developed through its SPVs Ninfea Rinnovabili and Regolo Rinnovabili, to help elaborate the definitive design of the wind farms and support forthcoming Environmental Impact Assessment applications.
