Lease Application

Mazar Wind Srl submitted an application in November 2022 to the Directorate General for the Supervision of the Port System Authorities, Maritime Transport and Internal Waterways of the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for a 40‑year maritime concession to build and operate the 1.1 GW Mazara del Vallo floating offshore wind farm, comprising 74 × 15 MW turbines and four offshore substations located at least 50 kilometres off Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, with grid connection at an onshore substation in the municipality. The application was, at the time of reporting, under public consultation at the Coast Guard of Mazara del Vallo.
