In summer 2012, Aker Solutions completed the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for Total’s Martin Linge development on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, covering the offshore production platform (topsides and jacket), the floating storage and offloading (FSO) unit with turret and mooring system, the SURF scope (subsea umbilicals, risers, pipelines and flowlines), transportation and installation, and the onshore control center in Stavanger. This FEED package underpinned subsequent detailed engineering and major contract awards for the project’s infrastructure, including the power-from-shore interconnector systems.
