By April 22, 2013, BMT ARGOSS had completed a comprehensive metocean study for Total covering the Martin Linge field and the installation routes of associated subsea assets, including the submarine power cable from Martin Linge to Kollsnes across the Norwegian Trench via the Troll field. The work collated existing and new analyses of extreme and ambient environmental conditions along the route, providing integrated design and operational criteria to support planning, risk reduction and detailed engineering for installation of the power-from-shore cable and related infrastructure.
