Offshore installation of the Martin Linge power-from-shore cable began on 2 April 2015 when the dedicated cable-laying vessel Lewek Connector commenced loadout from ABB’s Karlskrona factory with the first approximately 82 km section of the 145 kV three-core HVAC submarine cable destined for the Kollsnes–Martin Linge route.
