By January 2023, field activities for the Preliminary Marine Route Survey (PMRS) for the Malta–Sicily Interconnector 2 were completed, providing detailed geophysical information along the offshore route between Malta and Ragusa. Interconnect Malta reports the completion of these PMRS works, which were carried out by Fugro Italy and underpin the project’s engineering design and environmental assessments.
