System Testing

Commissioning and system testing of the London Array offshore wind farm were completed in 2013, with the project’s director stating that commissioning had been finished on schedule despite harsh winter weather. Legal and transaction documents note that London Array 1 went online in July 2013, indicating that by that time the integrated system of 175 turbines, array and export cables, and substations had successfully passed testing and entered operational service.
