London Array Phase 1, a 630 MW offshore wind farm of 175 Siemens 3.6 MW turbines in the Outer Thames Estuary, was formally commissioned and completed in 2013, with all turbines installed, energised, and feeding electricity into the UK grid; project partners at that time were DONG Energy (50%), E.ON (30%) and Masdar (20%).
