The export cable installation campaign at London Array was completed in late 2012, after the second export cable was installed early that year and the remaining two later in 2012. By the time work on the last export cable—whose installation began in early September 2012—was finished, around 220 km of export cabling in four continuous lengths of just over 50 km each had been laid and buried between the offshore substations and the Cleve Hill onshore substation.
