Geosea, part of the DEME Group, was a partner in the Future Energy joint venture contracted to deliver the offshore substations for the London Array grid connection, which became the core offshore assets of the London Array OFTO. Through Future Energy, Geosea provided offshore construction and marine installation capabilities for the two three‑level platforms, working on transport, lifting and installation activities in the Outer Thames Estuary. Its role supported the completion of the offshore HVAC hubs that collect power from the turbine arrays, transform it to 150 kV and transmit it via export circuits towards the Cleve Hill onshore substation.
