Description

For the London Array Phase 1 transmission system, the two offshore substations were designed, built and installed by Future Energy, a joint venture between Fabricom, Lemants and Geosea, using electrical equipment supplied by Siemens Transmission and Distribution Ltd. These substations collect power from turbine arrays and step up the voltage before export via the London Array OFTO export cables to shore.
