On 23 October 2023, Lithuania’s Environmental Protection Agency issued an environmental impact assessment decision for the installation and operation of an offshore wind farm in Lithuania’s marine territory within the areas designated by Government Resolution No. 697, based on an EIA report prepared by CORPI for the Ministry of Energy. This approval covers offshore wind development in the specified territorial sea area of the Baltic Sea and provides the environmental consent framework needed for subsequent project tenders and permitting steps.
