On 28 February 2023, Octopus Energy completed the acquisition of an additional 7.75% stake in the Lincs offshore wind farm on behalf of its Sky (ORI SCSp) fund. This purchase increased Octopus Energy Generation’s managed interest in the 270 MW project from 23.25% to 31%, further consolidating its position as a major minority owner in the operational wind farm, which comprises 75 turbines and is operated by Ørsted.
