In late 2014, the Lincs offshore wind farm’s electrical transmission link, including the export cables, was transferred under the UK’s OFTO regime to TC Lincs OFTO Limited (Transmission Capital Partners). The OFTO licence for the transmission assets was awarded for £308 million, effecting a 100% transfer of ownership of the transmission link from the project developers to the licensed OFTO.
