On 22 April 2010 Lincs Wind Farm Limited awarded a contract for the offshore installation of export, collector and array cables to a marine installation contractor following a tender process. The contract covered installation of the Lincs export cables and associated offshore cabling, procuring the specialist offshore construction scope for the transmission link that would later be transferred to TC Lincs OFTO.
