In November 2010 Ofgem calculated an initial transfer value of £310.5 million for the Lincs offshore transmission assets, based on the developer’s initial cost estimate. This initial transfer value was communicated to the developer and published in the preliminary information memorandum to inform bidders in the OFTO tender process of the expected asset value.
