In AST’s Annual Statement of Transmission System Operator (2024), AST discusses the Latvia–Sweden interconnection (LaSGo link) and states: “The expected implementation time of the project is until 2040.” While the document does not break out permitting stages, this is the only explicit TSO-stated project timeline found in official materials and is used here as a high-level stated target for completing the approvals enabling delivery by 2040.
