Description
Hitachi Energy was selected by TenneT under a multi-year framework agreement within TenneT’s 2 GW HVDC programme that included the German offshore grid connection LanWin5. Under the framework, Hitachi Energy was to supply HVDC Light® converter stations for the programme’s offshore and onshore conversion of power (AC to DC offshore and DC to AC onshore) and associated infrastructure across the awarded portfolio that included LanWin5.
