TenneT LanWin5 (NOR-13-1) commercial operations targeted for 30 September 2032 per TenneT's §17d Abs 2 S 7 EnWG completion-date filing following the BSH ASG-Nordsee bypass decision (December 2025), which formally amended LanWin5's commissioning from the FEP 2025 base IBN of 2031 Q3 to 2032 Q3 to accommodate the revised offshore cable routing. The system is a 2 GW ±525 kV HVDC bipole connecting wind farm sites N-12.3 (Dreekant, EnBW, awarded June 2024) and N-13.2 (1 GW, scheduled for 2027 auction). Onshore landing planned at the NordWest hub (Großenmeer/Rastede area, Lower Saxony). EPCI contracts awarded to Petrofac/Hitachi Energy framework (2024). Replaces prior projection of year-end 2031 which pre-dated the ASG bypass amendment. The ASG-Nordsee bypass is a BSH cable-routing decision (December 2025) that re-routed several offshore HVDC corridors around the formally designated Allgemeines Schifffahrtsgebiet (ASG) general shipping area in the German North Sea EEZ — adding route length and triggering §17d Abs 2 S 7 EnWG completion-date amendments of ~1-3 quarters across the affected grid systems.
