Description
Siemens Energy, as part of a consortium with Dragados Offshore, signed a framework agreement with TenneT to supply HVDC transmission technology for the 2 GW offshore grid connection LanWin4 in the German North Sea. Siemens Energy was stated to manufacture key electrical HVDC components (including switchgears, transformers and converter technologies) at its European factories for the converter stations associated with the project.
