TenneT LanWin1 (NOR-12-1) commercial operations targeted for 2030 Q3 per BSH Flächenentwicklungsplan 2025 Tabelle 7 base IBN, with ASG-Nordsee bypass pushing finalisation into 2030 Q4. The system is a 2 GW ±525 kV HVDC bipole connection from a single offshore converter platform to the onshore converter at Unterweser (Wesermarsch, Lower Saxony), serving the wind farm cluster at sites N-12.1 (NordSee Energies 1, TotalEnergies, awarded July 2023) and prospectively other cluster-12 sites pending future auction rounds. Delivery is by TenneT Offshore GmbH under the 2 GW programme with McDermott awarded the topsides fabrication contract and Jan De Nul / LS Cable / Denys consortium delivering the HVDC cable system. Replaces prior projection of year-end 2031 which did not reflect the FEP-published IBN timeline. The ASG-Nordsee bypass is a BSH cable-routing decision (December 2025) that re-routed several offshore HVDC corridors around the formally designated Allgemeines Schifffahrtsgebiet (ASG) general shipping area in the German North Sea EEZ — adding route length and triggering §17d Abs 2 S 7 EnWG completion-date amendments of ~1-3 quarters across the affected grid systems.
