On 15 August 2018, following an appeal review by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (Olje- og energidepartementet), NEAS AS received final approval (anleggskonsesjon) to construct the new 132 kV Engviklia–Bruvoll transmission line and the associated 132 kV subsea cable crossing Kvernesfjorden between Stokke in Gjemnes municipality and Rokset in Averøy municipality in Møre og Romsdal. This consent authorises NEAS to build and operate these regional grid reinforcements as specified in the licence documentation for the Engviklia–Bruvoll line and the subsea cable over Kvernesfjorden.
