Description
VBMS was subcontracted by NKT Cables to install the high-voltage submarine cables for the Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution interconnector between Denmark and Germany. Under this construction-phase contract VBMS is responsible for offshore installation of approximately 50 km of 150 kV AC submarine cables, corresponding to the full two-cable system linking the Kriegers Flak E offshore platform and the German Baltic 2 offshore wind farm. The scope includes cable laying operations in the Baltic Sea in 2018 and associated offshore installation services required to complete the interconnector cable system supplied by NKT Cables.
