The French company Nexans will deliver just under 20 km of 400 kV cable, which is to be used to reinforce the power grid between the Ishøj substation and the Hovegaard substation near Ballerup.
Nexans was awarded an onshore cable contract associated with the Kriegers Flak grid connection. The company is supplying just under 20 km (reported as approximately 20 km) of 400 kV land cable to reinforce the Danish transmission network between Energinet.dk’s Ishøj and Hovegård substations near Ballerup. This reinforcement strengthens the onshore grid so it can accommodate power transmitted from Kriegers Flak and the Combined Grid Solution interconnector.
