Description
LS Cable and System was awarded one of the onshore cable system contracts for the Kriegers Flak grid connection. The company is supplying approximately 95 km of 220 kV land cable to connect the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm/export system into Energinet.dk’s onshore transmission grid at the Bjæverskov and Ishøj substations on Zealand. The contract forms part of the overall Kriegers Flak grid connection and Combined Grid Solution infrastructure, enabling power from the offshore area to reach the Danish high-voltage network.
