Burial and protection of approximately 2 x 24 km of 150 kV AC submarine interconnector cable route for the Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution, including boulder removal, trenching, jetting and backfill.
Energinet.dk and 50Hertz selected Greece-based Assodivers to perform burial and protection works for the Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution subsea interconnector cables linking the Danish and German grids via the Kriegers Flak and Baltic 2 offshore wind farms. The construction-phase contract covers burial and protection along approximately 2 x 24 km of submarine cable route, including boulder removal, pre-trenching and trenching, jetting, backfilling and covering of the trench, as well as associated marine surveys and documentation. Assodivers’ scope ensures the installed 150 kV AC interconnector cables are adequately protected on the seabed in the Baltic Sea.
